Lantern Sense
Last
week at London Fashion Week, women’s label Lantern Sense took stage for the
first time. Their debut had audiences wriggling in their seats with excitement.
Trevor NG and LaLa Yang who together create Lantern Sense brought The Free Masons
Hall alive with their edgy autumn / winter 16 collection, with muted colours
and stompy electric-rock music setting the vibe, followed by ultimate bad ass
models with nose piercing, braided hair and DIY clothing.
Fresh
talent is what London Fashion week is all about and Lantern Sense are a perfect
example of that. After the show fashion photographer Yoseph Chang explained “I’m
so happy for Trevor and LaLa, they’ve worked so hard to get where they are now.
They reception they received from the audience was so overwhelming. Things are
only going to get bigger and better.” And we should hope so.
