MADABELLE

Simplicity comes in many forms, one being a white shirt. I fucking love a white shirt it's just so easy. You can wear one with a pair of jeans to the pub, a skirt to the club and a pair of tights to a funeral. I can't get enough of a white shirt. I remember being in school and my uniform changed in my last year which allowed girls to wear shirts...do you know how buzzing I was?

Morning after morning I race to the window in hope that finally the sun has appeared but morning after morning I've been absolutely disappointed. I, like many others across the West have personally diagnosed my self with Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D) yes, sad. IM ALWAYS SAD!! I don't know what it is about the Winter but I can't function properly, so blogging was out of the question but now with Summer pon di way me, my camera and my little ass are back on the blogging wave. Hold onto your shitters!

I was always warned that when life gives you lemons to make lemonade but funnily enough, life never really gave me lemons, just a lot of shit. I'd never heard of 'shitanade' before so I didn't know how to deal with it.

Sometimes shit really does hit the fan in your life and that was kind of what happened to me over the winter. The whirlwind that was starting uni and working in retail store hit me kind of hard but unlike Dorothy who landed in techno-coloured dream land Oz, my rainy shit storm landed me in  Shepherds Bush! I'm now on a months break from University I can finally get back into what I love doing the most... talking about myself. As shallow as it sounds, I really have missed dressing up, going to locations and taking pictures with my girl. (www.gemilycxx.blogspot.co.uk) (have a look at her blog)

Making the most of what you've got is something that I religiously live by especially when it comes to my style and the clothes I wear. I found that whacking a basic belt round a poncho/large scarf gave me a brand new outfit without having to spend any money, I elevated the look with a pair of my favourite stripper boots (pretty woman stripper, not actual stripper) and a small clutch... I've run out of things to say so,

Enough from me, M.E.P

London Fashion Week has begun and in true British form it's absolutely freezing. Theres nothing I hate more than being cold so doubling up was my only option and why wear one coat when you can wear two, that what I always say (?!)

I paired a classic Levi denim jacket with a faux fur piece. The denim gave a relaxed, casual vibe and adding the fur gave the entire look a more luxe feel. I layered a basic slip dress over a black slim roll neck for extra warmth.
