A lace bra is something that has snuck it's way into my drawers and it has quickly become my go to, dare I say it, accessory.

I recently bought a white lace bra to go underneath a deep cut dress that I was wearing for my birthday back in October. I didn't quite have the bottle to go braless to the club as I knew after a few glasses of whatever was on the table,  a 'nip slip' would be on the cards and maybe on Instagram the next morning. I found my best and safest bet was to go for a lace bra detail. So even if I did spill out of my dress, I spilled out in style.

Well, since the arrival of then new bra, my life hasn't quite recovered. I mean, a lace bra. Get over yourself Maddie. No seriously, a lace bra has become the best thing to happen to my underwear drawer since I stopped wearing girly boxers and that was a revelation!

Adding just the right amount of effortless-ness to any plain t-shirt or dress wearing a lace bra is all you'll ever need for when you can but can't really be bothered. I love to team my black bra with a baggy white t-shirt, some jeans, and a pair of old converse.
