Since last years first announcements that H&Ms newest collaboration would be Balmain, I knew I had to get at least one thing. I found several items from the collection that I wanted but nothing grabbed my attention like one of the coats. I'm a massive sucker for a coat so when I saw this one I knew it had to be mine. The big gold double breasted buttons, the baggy fit, the stiff colour, the belt, basically the whole coat was so amazing and there was not a chance that I was going to let it slide. It had to be mine and I was going to do anything to get it.

So November 5th rolls round and I'm ready! I set myself a 4AM alarm, I was on the 5AM train which got me to Shepherds Bush for 7AM I was so ready for this, the coat was mineeee!! It wasn't until I got outside Westfield Shopping Centre that I realised just how many people had the same frame of mind as me.

There were at least, 300 +people in front of me at this time, I was devastated! I tried to push in the queue but I was quickly shut down by a group of very miserable and mean women and I was sent all the way to the back (it was worth a try)(If you're reading this I hope you didn't get anything)!!!

To cut a long story short only 80 people got into the store that day as the whole store had to be closed down due to lack of security.  I was so upset, tired and hungry I honestly started contemplating my life choices. But, and there is a huge but in my story (no fairy tale ends on a bad note) my mum managed to get online and buy me 2 things! I got my dream coat, and an amazing jumper (which I will post next week). I was ,in fact, I still am so happy and shocked that my mum managed to get me my bits. She's magic.

My new coat is to die for. Even though the label says H&M the quality shouts Balmain. Theres no coat in my wardrobe that compares to the quality of this! It is worth every penny!
