- Lace ups are everywhere at the minute, even in the most unexpected of places. On my travels I ventured into The Land of No Return that is Primark and I was pleasantly surprised to see their A/W 15 Range was already on the shelves. I love it. Lots of burgundy, khaki's and knit, right up my street! Primark doesn't normally perform for me so I was happy to see that Primark HQ have pulled some amazing pieces this season and have gained one very happy customer. 1 Point Primark.

When it comes to leather look I think that there is only one way to wear it and that is to go 'all out.' Put on as much leather as you can because layering will always look great.
Leather trousers have always been a look that I've loved after seeing them in magazines and on celebrities and it's been a style that I wanted to try for myself. I thought I could just buy some trousers and get my 'rock chick' on - if only it was that simple! After trying on trouser after trouser, having breakdowns in changing rooms and wanting to slice my legs off, I gave up. I probably tried on 10 pairs of trousers on different shopping trips and in different stores, none of them getting past my knees. I reluctantly gave up my search and my dreams of being the rock chick, I'd always wanted to be, slipped away. Until Christmas morning when my personal shopper aka mum brought me two pairs of leather trousers, before I could even give a reaction she told me "Don't look at the size, just try them" And that is my only advice when it comes to shopping for leather trousers, go a size or two up it makes ALL the difference! Don't try and force yourself into a certain size as who's going to see the label anyway? Or just cut it out as it's always about how you feel in what you are wearing and not the pressure of feeling a certain size.
My trousers are from River Island and they are amazing, they are stretchy on the leg without making them look like leggings and they are really comfortable and light (sometimes I forget I have them on.)
Trousers and Coat are synthetic.

New year
Coat & Jeans: River Island
Crop Top: American Apparel
Bag: Forever 21
Shoes: Converse - Office
With Christmas and New Year feeling life a lifetime ago it's time to get back into a proper routine again, which I'm kind of happy about. My first blog of the year is dedicated to some bargain boxing day buys. Normally I stay well away from the Boxing Day sales due to my fellow shoppers literally putting the 'Boxing' in Boxing Day. I like to leave it a few days after so everything has calmed down and I can actually have a look at the clothes on the racks instead of the clothes on the floor.
You just have to love oversized coats and in Autumn/Winter - they are every girls best friend! A girl can never have too many coats, so with that in mind I snatched this oversized lime green dream for £30 reduced from £80 and a pair of MOM jeans for £20 reduced from £40.
I was never a big jean fan. I wear skinny jeans to work but they're never been something I look forward to wearing. I'm not confident with the way I look in them and because of that I ruled out jeans all together. (How stupid of me!!) I never thought I'd fall in love with a pair of jeans the way I have with these MOM jeans, they're a loose fit which allow you to move without restrictions as well as making you feel like you've just jumped out of a vintage Levi's campaign.
So I paired this outfit with plain black and white converse to support the vintage look of the jeans and a little red shoulder bag to add even more colour.
Anywho, enough from me. MEP x
Paris
With no time to even think about what to wear me and 3 girlfriends were on our way to Paris.
This was so out of the norm for me and I couldn't quiet believe it was happening.I've always had fascinations with Paris and I've been begging my boyfriend to take me for a while but for some reason we've just never got round to going, so when an opportunity to go with friends cropped up I grabbed it by the horns.
Our journey into Paris was a trip on it's own. From running out of petrol in England, popping a tyre in Calais to getting pulled over by the Police in Paris. Once we finally got out the car our holiday could truly begin and we could begin to see what Paris had to offer 4 fashion students.

If you're thinking of gong to Paris here's my little 'go to'
1. If your driving, have a spare tyre. You never know what may happen.
2. Learn a little french so if you puncher your tyre you know how to ask for help.
3.If your driving, be prepared just drive slow and look around you constantly. Stay calm.
4. Go for a while, 2 days and 1 night wasn't enough! There's so much to see.
5.Plan your day. Give yourself time limits to be in certain places. Time fly's when your having fun.
6.Check the weather. It will always be a little colder or a little warmer in Paris than London so be prepared.
7. Go to the top of the tower! The eiffel tower is unbelievable go to the top! It's worth it.
8.Have fun, take it all in… on your camera.

Paris at Christmas time is truly magical. Finger numbingly cold but still so magical, like something you'd see in a Disney film. When we accidentally stumbled across a Christmas market at Champs-elysees we couldn't quiet believe it. I would defiantly recommend to any one going to Paris in December to visit, it was beautiful and some of the stalls were outstanding, selling food and gifts. Even if you don't spend any money at the market it is still worth having a walk around. The atmosphere is something you won't find in London. I would also recommend to any shop-aholic to visit Galleries Lafayette although you will find that everything is probably out of your price range it is lovely to walk around and see some of the designer clothes. I know you're probably thinking "but we can do that at home" honestly, something about seeing Chanel in Paris is different to seeing it at home.
I never thought that I would be a spontaneous person because I like to have things organised but I think this random trip to Paris has helped me out I feel like it was just what I needed, I feel stress relived and i feel a bit more accomplished. Be the spontaneous Sally even if it's a bit out of your comfort zone, what have you got to lose? (Maybe a bit of money)
